The Quba Boutique Hotel Pattaya

Nice but small room, well decorated, quality fittings.

Even if it's not luxurious, absolutely everything is nice. The staff were excellent. The room size is excellent for a solo traveler. The fit and finish in the rooms is pleasant. The bed was just the right firmness. All the room furniture was real wood and finished beautifully. The location is pretty good. It's about a 10-12 minute walk to the Runaway (747) market. There are several 7-Elevens and a mini Big C nearby. A little farther down the road there's a full size Big C and outlet mall. The breakfast is okay. More Eastern than Western selection at breakfast, though.

The hotel has a very cool Cuban vibe, with staff in uniforms and lots of memorabilia and photos on the walls all around the hotel. The room was large with a shower room (yes, the shower is its own room, you could fit 10 people if you are into that). The breakfast buffet had many choices of great food and the coffee machine had lots of strong coffee options. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and always smiling. There are two 7-elevens very close by and some good restaurants, a DIY laundry and many motor bike taxi options.

The decor and architecture were very unique and esthetically appealing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The fitness center, while small, had enough to do what you needed. The Bar location in the hotel was a small, open court by the restaurant where all the tenants congregate making it easy to make friends and conversations.

The theme was really well delivered and authentic. Rooms and general areas were interestingly designed. Bed very comfortable, shower lovely and hot. Bar had an excellent vibe and environment. The 4pm to 7pm happy hour was a highlight. 'Top' really put his heart into the cocktail making. Try an ' El Tesoro de Cuba' - very interesting process, taste had a real kick to it. 'Fern' was delightful, very friendly and attentive, and 'Juice' served a mean platter of Chicken, Ribs and Sausage!
